Welcome to Fallbrook United Methodist Church -- a place where we celebrate who God is and how God is still at work within our world today, through the scriptures of the Old and New Testament, in the power of Jesus Christ and in the strength of the Holy Spirit.
Come as you are, whether you are seeking to know more about God, struggling with your faith, or a Spirit-filled, well seasoned believer, you will find a place here. May the love and light of God lead you as you find a place to call home.
We invite and welcome all to Christ's family, focusing on God's love in mission to the community and world.

Pastor Saul
The Revered Saul Montiel is friendly and positive and is a people’s pastor. He is married to Mariana Montiel and both make up a family of six. He is known among friends and family to be an excellent meat cook and loves to spend time in front of the grill. Barbecuing with friends and family is one of his favorite ways to spend his days off.
He is an elder in full connection in our conference and came to us from the Desert Southwest Conference. He has earned his Master of Divinity degree, and served churches in Arizona and California for the last twenty-two years. In addition, Pastor Montiel has served as a US/Mexico border missionary, and adjunct professor for Claremont School of Theology and the Course of Studies. He has also chaired the Inter-Ethnic Coordinating Committee of the Western Jurisdiction as well as MARCHA, the Hispanic jurisdictional caucus.
He believes that love is the key to a healthy life, and he believes that most of the illnesses come from the absence of love. He thinks that the acceptance of all, through friendship, is the key to live as the community of God.
About Us
All are welcome to worship with us. A warm and welcoming congregation meets each Sunday morning for worship. Our worship is a combination of traditional music with organ and choir, blended with a praise band. There is a weekly message for children during the service and children are invited to then stay and worship with their parents or attend Sunday School. The Pastor's messages each week are biblically based and relevant for daily living.
Childcare is provided.
Fallbrook United Methodist Church is a mix of long history with an eye toward the future. Fallbrook’s oldest denominational church, the Fallbrook United Methodist Church, is over 131 years old. For more information about the United Methodist Church, please visit www.umc.org.
A Methodist congregation was organized in Fallbrook in 1887, with its first church building being constructed in 1888 at the corner of Fig St. and South Mission Rd. (previously known as Hill St.) That building still stands and is currently the home of the First Christian Church. On what was once a grove, the Fallbrook United Methodist Church began construction of its present facility in 1974 at 1844 Winterhaven Road.
Come and join us as we worship God, develop as followers of Jesus Christ, and work in the world as God's people who want to make a difference.
